This is one of the best movies produced by Joko Anwar released on August 2019 in Indonesia.

Sancaka, a boy - who still wearing white-red uniform (read: elementary student) lost his dad, an factory labor who speak out about justice aggressively and bravely, in other hand, after his death, Sancaka's mother is looking for a job out of town but never come back.

After lost his parents, young Sancaka lived at the street until he realize his superpower when grown up. Sancaka beaten till seriously injured and was thrown from the top of building. He fell on the street, then suddenly rain comes and he strucked by lighting. As the time, he realize that he had a superpower.

This is an Indonesia's jagoan (read: superhero) movie. Simple and realistic story-line appeared in related every scene continuously. An attractive roled character recognition with non-exaggerate visual effect completed by high resolution audio. And the most important things is message and satire delivered by dialogues of the casts which is very relevant with the current situation.

I'm one of the 90's generation who just knew about existence of the characters based on comics about the superheros and villains, which related with the Indonesia's culture and history by watching Gundala :D. This movie is totally awesome. I'm absolutely proud. Starting by Gundala as the first superheroes movies from Bumilangit Cinematic Universe (BCU), this is the best way to introduce Indonesia's heroic characters to the modern societies and to the world. This is a great progress in the development of the Indonesia's film industry.
