By Anonymous - February 20, 2014

So excited..!
At the middle of february 2014, I have chance to go to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for 5 days.
Actually this is my duty period to carried passangers back to Kuala Lumpur from Jeddah after they did umra for a while.

Ok, let's start the adventure..
:)

I arrived at the airport at Sepang, Kuala Lumpur around afternoon, waiting for crew departure report queue, and ended by waiting for the bus coming to picked up us to go to hotel. It was took around one hour to get the hotel because it's so far I think ^__^. Finally I arrived at Hilton Petaling Jaya in Petaling Jaya or most common people said as PJ, Selangor, Malaysia. This hotel is awesome, I can surfing with my laptop in room so fast without buffering. But before that, I have to login with my personal data to do it. And FYI, this internet service is available for three devices, so I can use it in my iPhone and laptop.

Because I really love to shopping, so that I looking for any mall and places to go. In Kuala Lumpur, there's a place called Bukit Bintang Street which is a long street with so so many kind of shopping mall, from standard shopping center, branded mall, until luxurious branded mall available here. When I arrived at this street, I just have to wallk to went to all shopping malls to get the lovable shopping experiences.

~ Hilton Petaling Jaya to Bukit Bintang Street
From Hilton Petaling Jaya, I use normal taxi, I mean this is a common used mass transportation called "Teksi Bermeter". Those cars mostly in red color and it started from 3 RMY to pay off. To get at Bukit Bintang Street I have pay around 20 RMY because it was not too far and no traffic jam.

In Bukit Bintang Street, I can found so many shopping center and malls. First time I went to Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. This mall open gate at 10.00am, haha you now, I arrived there for the first time around 9.46am and I found so so many peoples standing in front of the gate for waiting. When the time is coming, I immediately took my iPhone from bag, I saw it was exactly 10.00am and the main gate was open. Everyone go inside then suddenly outside near the water fountain where I standing was empty.

At Pavilion, it has so many branded stores like Marc Jacobs, Coach, Miu Miu, and so on. I was here alone and really enjoyed to walk around every floor by myself until I felt stiff on my feet. I walked from the lowest floor which is available so many food courts. There is open various kind of food, you can choose anything here..! And finally I went to Sushi Tei to got my lunch, itadakimasu..!

After that I walked outside to find another shopping mall like Fahrenheit 88. In this place, my friend recommended to go to Japanese restaurant called Sushi Zanmai it has delicious taste. Here I found many clothing stores for young peoples for various style, like Korean style, rebel and casual look, and much more for young stylish people like us..!

With my remaining energy, I walked again to go to Sungei Wang Plaza. When I was there, I has a "dance show" at the center of the building. So I was walked around every floor with hip hop music background accompany me. If I compare with one of Indonesia's shopping center, this place I can say maybe like "Mangga Dua". Everyone who ever lived in Jakarta mostly know this place.

The another day I went to Bukit Bintang Street to explore the luxurious mall is Starhill Gallery which is integrates two world class hotels and The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Kuala Lumpur into a seamlessly sophisticated environment. Oh My God, this place consist of all luxurious and very very expensive stores for me like Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Kenzo, and many more. Actually I looked for a sweater from on of the most fashionable brand. So that I walked around level by level to find the store what I want. Thanks God, I found the store and immediately I entered to search my target sweater. Because I did not found it, I asked to the shopkeeper the model that I looked for, but pity me, she said that models are out of stock and no longer available. So I asked about the price, again I said Oh My God. The price for the different model of sweater for this fashionble brand is around 3.200 RMY. Gosh, I was really shocked to heard about that, because it was too expensive and not in my expectation price for a sweater. :D

Walk again around 20 minutes from Bukit Bintang Street I found Alor Street that provide the best places to enjoy delicious food. A long Alor Street I found various kind of resto like Thai cuisine, Chinese resto, and fresh fruit shops.

~ Hilton Petaling Jaya to Central Market to Suria Mall KLCC
Near my hotel, there is any station called Asia Jaya LRT Station. Start from here I paid 2 RMY to go to Central Market, it means I have to stop at Pasar Seni Station. After get the Pasar Seni Station I went straight to get exit and walked until I saw the Central Market gate across the street. This place is not far from the station, so just walk exit and follow the street, you will find it. I think you should not be lost to get there.

Central Market is a good place to looking for any characteristical merchandise and souvenirs for your family, relatives, and friends before leaving Malaysia. You will find so many shops sale keychain, souvenirs, t-shirt jewelry, and many more with the competitive price.

After I hold a lot of shopping bag here, I decided to go to Suria Mall KLCC to know more of shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur and certai

nly to take some pictures with Petronas Twin Towers. So, I went back to Pasar Seni Station to bought ticket around 1.60 RMY to go to KLCC Station. When I arrived at KLCC Station, just follow the exit sign then finally I was entering Suria Mall at KLCC building.

Got some happines doing shopping and Suria Mall, I went outside and looking for the main gate of this mall. It has water fountain at the front and ofcourse the iconic landmark of Kuala Lumpur is Petronas Twin Towers at the back side. If you arrived at Malaysia, do not forget to take some photos near Petronas, it will be a proof and unforgettable pictures for you that you have been go to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

~ KLCC to Hard Rock Cafe
Hard Rock Cafe
Because I want to enjoy the city of Kuala Lumpur, it's better to find another -not to far- place just by walk. This way will save my money and make me healthier because of walking around whole day. From KLCC I walked to looking for Hard Rock Cafe at Wisma Concorde. It took times around 15 minutes by walk straight and then turn right, or maybe better to asked with people around there where is the easiest way to get Concorde Hotel from KLCC.

~ Hilton Petaling Jaya to Genting Highlands
From Asia Jaya Station near hotel, I bought ticket 2 RMY to get KL Sentral Station. When reached KL Sentral Station, go downstair to underground bus station and search small ticket counter to buy bus ticket to Genting Highlands. Actually there is any tour package to Genting around 50 RMY for bus round trip and enter theme park. But unfortunately, the outdoor theme park is under construction until 2015. I can not play there, so I just bought just for one trip bus ticket to Genting.

The ticket price was 10.30 RMY is valid for one trip bus and skyway ride at Genting Skyway to get Genting Highlands. At the First World Indoor Theme Park, me and my friends enjoyed many games. Before we can played games, we have to buy rechargeable card for 20 RMY that will used by swipe motion to machine to start the game. Here also available Genting Casino for adult. This place has strict notice are acceptable by adult over 21 years old and non-muslim for Malaysian citizen only to enter the Casino.

At the another day, in the morning you have to go outside by walk to find "Cradle Rock/Batu Berayun". This spot is not far from Ria Apartment, just go walk down side around 10 minutes. From this place, I can see amazing nature scenery with cold wind that can not find in the hectic city like Kuala Lumpur.

Finally, my holiday is over. These five days was running so fast and I have to go back work to carried umra passangers from Malaysia to Medina, King of Saudi Arabia.
